Preliminary/Qualifying Night with no Main EventA crash early in his heat race on Thursday sent Brandon and the Gressel Racing machine to the pits, and with extensive damage to his Hughes Chassis, the team was done for the weekend and did not race Friday or Saturday.

On Friday, Brandon finished 5th in his Modified heat race. On Saturday, he was 7th in his heat race and 11th in his B-Main. In the A-Main, he started 21st and finished 16th.

Finished 13th in Main EventThe Gressel Racing team visited the 81 Speedway to close out the month of August with some NCRA Late Model action. Brandon finished sixth in his heat race after starting eighth, and then wound up 13th in the main event after starting 10th.
