The National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) Late Models spent Father’s Day on Sunday night at the famed Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kan.
Kip Hughes started on the pole for the 15-lap feature and led the rest of the way, keeping the rest of the field at bay the entire distance to claim his first ever series victory.
Eighth-starting Randy Timms worked his way through the field to finish second while Ryan Gustin, a feature winner the previous night at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kan., finished third.
