The 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 is drawing closer and the excitement is building for this crown jewel event, held at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo. The Show-Me 100 weekend will will start on Thursday, May 23rd and concludes Saturday, May 25th with the 100-lap $30,000 to win main event. Lucas Oil Speedway officials have added a $5,000 to win Lucas Oil MLRA sanctioned event for Thursday night, May 23rd in place of the usual practice night for the Show-Me 100. With the added event on Thursday Night and all the activities for fans to enjoy, the 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com is a must see event.
In addition to the $5,000 to win event on Thursday Night, Lucas Oil Speedway has added an additional $10,000 to the total purse and increased the start money to $1,500 for the Show-Me 100 feature event. Lucas Oil Speedway officials and the series officials are also excited to announce an added event to this year’s schedule, the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge. Racers that fail to make the Show-Me 100 feature event on Saturday Night through heat races or B-mains will get a chance to earn some extra money through this added race. The 20-lap Midwest Sheet Metal Non-Qualifiers race will pay $2,000 to win and $250 to start. The winner of the Non-qualifiers race can elect to forfeit the $2,000 first place money and tag the tail of the Show-Me 100 feature event for a chance to win the $30,000 first place prize.
