Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton has again been nominated for Region 5 Promoter of the Year and the 49th annual Auto Racing Promoter of the Year Award.
“It’s an honor and privilege to make the list again this year for Region 5 Promoter of the Year and ARPY award and to be included with so many top-notch people and speedways,” Lorton said. “It’s a tribute to our tremendous speedway team and our outstanding Lucas Oil Speedway fans.”
In all, six different USRA track promoters have been nominated.
81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.) promoter John Allen and I-35 Speedway (Winston, Mo.) promoter Mike Johnson join Lorton in the Region 5 balloting.
