40th Annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park

Tuesday Night Opener - Feb. 8, 2011:

Austin Dillon powered to victory on tuesday night in the opener. Austin, and his brother Ty, are the grandsons of NASCAR owner Richard Childress. Corey Conley of Wellsburg, W.Va., started 21st and fought his way up for a second-place finish. Then it was NASCAR star Clint Bowyer, Emporia, Ks., in third.
Looks like Ryan was first in the Qualifying Group 5 and finished fourth behind Clint Bowyer in Heat 5. Don't know if he ran in B-Main or decided to call it a night because of track conditions. Will have more on this later.
